Please Pray!

I know I just sent out a newsletter last week, but this week has been really heavy and we need as many prayers as you can muster.

Zach continues to be sick-- this week has been very reminiscent of our last term-- he had diarrhea last Sunday and Monday, was better by Tuesday but had a 24 hour vomiting bug on Wednesday, was better through most of the weekend but started having diarrhea again(this time a confirmed parasite) on Sunday.   He started medicine this morning, so hopefully will be better by tomorrow, but I'm afraid he's lost what little he had gained.

Both the people who have been helping me with cooking and Zach since the bed-rest started have been sick.   Yesterday while they were both gone I caught Zach's flu and was trying to watch him all afternoon while throwing up.  The resulting dehydration hasn't helped my contractions slow down…  Meanwhile, Jesse ended up teaching eight hours at the Bible school-- some of the hours were his normal ones, but others were dropped on him at 10am when the other main teacher called and said, "I'm supposed to be teaching right now, but I can't make it.   Take over for me OK?"  Normally that wouldn't be too big of a problem, but it was a doozy yesterday on top of everything else.

One helper is finally back today, but she greeted us with a story about her mom having a dream that all our sickness is because of a curse put on us by a little old lady who gave us a basket.   Her solution is for us to burn the basket…  so now we have to pray and decide what the wisest way to deal with all of that is.

Jesse's parents arrive this afternoon to pick up the boys who are flying here from RVA.  In many ways that will be a help, but it also means food to be bought and prepared, rooms to ready, etc…

HELP!  We're really fighting the discouragement, but I think it's winning…
