Dear Everyone,
Thank you so much for your prayers for the boys and your encouraging emails. Zach is completely better. Micah has improved some-- his fever broke yesterday and he was fever-free all night last night, but this afternoon the fever came back-- not sure if it's the malaria's last stand or something new like a cold or flu that he picked up because his immune system is down. We'll see in the next few days. Thanks for your continued prayers.
Several other items for prayer-- the guy who is carrying Jesse's medicine has been delayed. He is now coming Sunday (instead of yesterday as planned). Jesse has just enough medicine to get through Sunday if he reduces the dose he is taking. Please pray Jonathan does arrive Sunday, because by then we will be out,and Lyrica is not a med it is OK to just cut off cold turkey-- if you're going to quit you have to wean yourself off little by little.
Pray also for Jesse's Aunt Melli, who is returning to Burundi this week with their six youngest children. (Ken is already here). She does have a volunteer with her to help on the flight, but it will still be a big challenge.
On a different note, we have a big praise-- the government inspectors came to see the Discovery School yesterday and were pleased with what they saw. They have given us official approval to expand our preschool into a primary school. Hooray!
Thanks again for caring and praying!
In His Hands,
Joy
