Dear Friends,
Thank you again for ramping up the prayers for us this past week
regarding the ongoing issues of Jesse's health and problems among the
leadership of the churches we work with here. On Wed. Jesse's health
was looking up, and Wed. night he slept for 8 hours without being
woken up by shivers or sweats.
Then yesterday Jesse spent 11 hours in a meeting with other church
leaders and govt. officials from the Ministry of the Interior. (No
lunch, no snacks, no sodas, sitting in the same chair, no supper, not
arriving home until 8:30pm…) Progress was made in finding resolution,
but it was an unexpected whammy as far as his health is concerned. He
came home with a full migraine, burning with fever, and shivering. He
will head back to the doctor today to redo the malaria test and
probably switch antibiotics.
Please continue to pray for swift resolution. The govt. ministry now
needs time to make some decisions. Pray that those involved are given
godly wisdom and the fortitude to stand for what is right.
Blessings,
Joy
