Joy's surgery is over and went very well. The actual surgery took just over an hour and the doctor was happy with how things went. He said she had some blood in her abdomen from the swollen fallopian leaking out already but not much. They were able to remove the tube. I got to see her about an hour after talking to the doctor when she woke up. So we are definitely praising the Lord for how well it went. We were at the hospital for another 2 hours under observation. Joy was very groggy and nauseous. When we got home she took a long nap and felt less nauseous when she woke up. She has started eating and drinking so that is good. The laparoscopic technique used and the fact that they caught this before rupture means the recovery should be much faster than otherwise.
