Thank you all for your prayers throughout Joy's pregnancy and your wonderful emails since Micah's birth. I am sorry that we cannot write back individually to all of you who offered your congratulations! Your kind words are greatly appreciated. We have been overwhelmed by your love and concern for us and are praising God for you. We have by lying low for the past two days since our release from the hospital--trying to get Micah on a schedule and resting when we can. Again prayers have been answered as we had at first received concerning news that Micah had a heart murmur and was quite jaundiced, but the heart murmur disappeared seventy-two hours later and the jaundice, though still present is not severe and will not require any medical attention. More answered prayers! We are boldly asking that again you pray for our family (We are obviously convinced and even have proof that it makes a difference!)
First praise God with us for so many answered prayers on our behalf!
Also:
Please pray for Zach as he has just come down with Malaria again--that he will not lose any of the weight he gained here, and for him as he adjusts to his mommy not being able to give him as much attention as she used to
Please pray that Micah will gain weight steadily as he has already lost more than the "allowable" 10% drop from his birth weight
Please pray that we would be able to get Micah's birth certificate and passport very soon (before the 13 th) so that we will not have to extend our Kenya visas and change our plane tickets both of which would be quite costly
