Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you all so much for praying for the boy's health. Thank you to those who wrote personal notes too. We really appreciated it and will write back as we are able. Zach's flu lasted only 2 days. Micah seems also to have had a bacterial infection in his intestines because he only got better after several antibiotic injections and some anti-nausea injections to keep him from getting too dehydrated. Both the boys have been doing really well the last two days. We have two guests from the States here so have been busy with the normal work plus the wonderful priviledge of arraging activities and projects for them. Karleen, who arrived two weeks ago and was a great help while the kids were sick, is a student and has one year left to get her RN. She is a cheerful, helpful, and seems to really be enjoying herself. She is here until the begining of August. Joel arrived from Canada last week. He is a carpenter. This is his first time overseas and it will take him some time to adjust to a new culture. He is friendly, and willing to help out with whatever there is to do. I think he is feeling a bit overwhelmed right now so you could pray for him. He is planning on staying four months. If anyone else is interested in coming out for a visit or to help out with the work here, you are more than welcome!
