Dear Friends and Family,
Because of the slow internet service, Jesse and Joy asked me to send you an update for them.
Thanks SO MUCH for praying for them. Since their last update on the 12th of December here's the summary and urgent concern:
Elliot has had diarrha ever since - 11 days now. They're thankful that he has continued to nurse well, but the last two days the episodes have increased. Please pray that Jesse and Joy will know what to do. There is a pediatrician there, but no lab tests etc.
Zach and Micah have both been sick and still have occasional syptoms, but are mostly better.
Jesse's fibromyalgia has flared up again, but he presses on.
Joy's strength hasn't fully returned since the delivery.
They are exhausted. Please pray for healing and that the Lord would encourage them.
Praise the Lord:
-The Bible School graduation for 27 men and the discovery School program both went well!
Please pray for safe travel for Jesse's parents who are coming (6 hours of hard driving) tomorrow from Tanzania for Christmas.
We praise God for Jesus's birth. Like the Shepherds there in Bethlehem may we excitedly reach out telling everyone that Jesus, the Messiah has come to bring us eternal life - while - also quietly thinking of all that God has given us - treasuring it in our hearts - like Jesus' mother, Mary.

PS They didn't tell me to mention, that the film team's computer equipment needed for the Church's evangelistic Christmas program has broken down; The electricity has been on and off - sometimes only one phase is on - so Jesse gets to help there BE LIGHT where it is needed. It's been really hot with no rain. They had an unwanted rat in their bedroom...
