Dear Friends and Family,
Ning Tan, who was just hear a few weeks ago and who was planning to move to Burundi and work with us long-term, just had a stroke and is in the ICU having had surgery to relieve the massive pressure on her brain caused by the bleeding. She is still unconscious, and the next 72 hours are critical. We all (us and the Burundians we work with) all grew to love her so much just in the ten days she was here. She is an incredible woman who loves the Lord with all her heart. Please pray that God will spare her life. Pray also that there won't be long-term damage, and for her parents as they have flown from their home in Maryland to be with her in Oregon.
