Answered prayers

Sometimes God says "Yes!"

We are thrilled to report that the second (and obviously better) computer repair guy that we took the fried desktop computer to was able to repair it for just under a hundred dollars.  It is now working again and all data is intact!  What a resounding "yes" to your prayers and ours.

Sometimes God says "Wait."
Sometimes God says "No."

We are still not sure what God's answer is in response to our pleas for complete healing for Jesse.  He takes his last dose of the two antibiotics he was taking for the stomach ulcer, and the ulcer symptoms are definitely better.  Unfortunately his pain level from the fibromyalgia has significantly increased.  We pretty much expected this to happen-- prior to the ulcer the fibro symptoms were pretty well under control with ibuprofen, but of course you can't take that when you have an ulcer.  Also, any other illness triggers the pain, and an ulcer would definitely qualify as a trigger. That said, it has still been hard to handle this increase in round the clock pain.  We are praying about whether Jesse should just continue to tough it out or try other stronger pain killers, and if so what and in what amounts. Taking large amounts of antibiotics for so long has also left him feeling drained.  We are praying that now that the courses of antibiotic are finished he will start feeling better quickly, especially since the course he is teaching at the Bible School starts tomorrow.  Thankfully his brother Danny will be teaching two out of the five days, but still, four hours of straight teaching will be hard.  Please continue to come before the Lord on his behalf.

Thank you, thank you, thank you,
Joy
