Dear Friends,
We are finally getting a minute or two to read emails and we have been overwhelmed by the love and support and prayers that you have been showing us through this time. Thank you so much to all who are praying, thank you so much to all who have written us personally and we wish we could write you all back personally to thank you. Thank you to those who have put us on prayer chains or have forwarded emails so others could pray. Thanks so much.
-Elliot is still breathing fine on his own. He is off of IV feeding and is drinking pumped breast milk.
-He is very jaundiced right now though and has been put on the bili light again, which means no more holding him for a while. An American doctor visiting the guest house has recommended that we ask the doctor to check his liver enzyme levels to make sure that the jaundice isn't a result of damage from oxygen deprivation, so we will ask them to do that today.
-Elliot will have to stay in the hospital until he is back to birth weight and able to nurse well without gasping for air, so we're not sure how long that will be.
The Lord has been using you to encourage us and to remind us of how good it is to belong to Him and be a part of the family of God.
