This is Joy's mom writing now... We just received the following email
from Jesse's mom in Kigoma, Tanzania where Jesse, Joy and family have
been visiting since Wednesday of last week. They were hoping to get a
good restful break - and were planning to return to Burundi tomorrow.
I know they would greatly appreciate your prayers. We received an
email about Zach being sick a few hours ago - you probably did too.

Dear Brian and Ruth,
Zach is in a local Health Center on IV. His diarrhea from yesterday
got worse today and he started vomiting a lot. He wasn't able to keep
down the medicine to stop vomiting nor the oral rehydration nor the
antibiotic (he has baccillary dysentery) so now after the IV they will
try the antibiotic again and use an injection vs. vomiting if
necessary. Jesse, Joy and Micah are in hospital with him. We took up
Micah's little bed. The doctor is a good pediatrician and the nurse
got the IV needle in first try. Could you let others know as they
didn't have time to write from their gmail. Thanks. We had a great
time at the beach and this got real bad just as we were getting back
home. Zach had a great time swimming, fishing with his dad etc....
