The doctor said it is bacterial dysentery-- basically a bad stomach
infection and that he needs antibiotic. Unfortunately Zach has
started throwing up and we aren't having any luck getting him to keep
down either the antinausea liquid phergren or the antibiotic. After
he threw up the first dose of antinausea meds we gave him another
quarter teaspoon and that hasn't come up yet. It's been fifteen
minutes, so that's good.They won't do a drip here unless his skin is
actually getting loose and he's really dehydrated. Not sure what
we'll do if he won't stop throwing up. He says his stomach is hurting
again now. We have the doctor's phone number, but chances of him
coming in the middle of the night with a shot are slim to none...
